Effectiveness of Types of Plants versus Browsing by Deer

Home Back

The information listed below will provide you with an extensive listing of landscape materials that are browsed upon by deer.  We also state the frequency of browsing (rarely or often).  Plants browsed upon rarely would be wise choices for planting in areas where there are heavy deer populations.  Plants that are browsed upon often should either not be planted at all or should be used as a "trap" planting so the deer will browse on them and not on your other, more choice plants.
