Long, stiff needles.  Dense and fast growing.  Height 40-50'  Spread 25-30'.  Good for altitudes between 8000 and 8500 feet.
 
Colorado Blue Spruce
Stiff round needles from green to silver-blue with pyramidal growth habit.  Tolerates moist conditions.  Height 50-80'  Spread 25-35'.  Good for altitudes 10,000 feet or higher.
 
Foxtail/Bristlecone Pine
Green bottle brush needles with white resin dots.  Height 20-40'  Spread 15-20'.  Good for altitudes 10,000 feet or higher.
 
Pinyon Pine
Slow growing with short needles and edible seeds.  Drought tolerant.  Height 15-25'  Spread 15-20'
 
Ponderosa Pine
Long needles with an open rounded shape.  Needles turn yellow-green in fall.  Height 50-60'  Spread 20-25'.  Good for altitudes between 9000 and 9500 feet.
 
Scotch Pine
Fast growing pine with twisted needles.  Open habit.  Height 40-50'  Spread 20-25'
 
White Fir/Concolor
Blue-green needles.  Pyramidal shape.  Does well in slightly moist locations.  Height 50-60'  Spread 20-25'.  Good for altitudes 10,000 feet or higher.
